A childs eye view of street safety is an award-winning film that tells the story of Teigan and her familys trip to the park with Road Safety Officer Richard, and the lessons about street safety they learn on the way.
The film explains all about pedestrian crossings, zebra crossings, and school crossing patrols. It features the Green Cross code, and highlights the dangers of crossing between parked cars, as well as being careful around driveways. It emphasises the importance of holding a grown ups hand, and why it is important to wear reflective clothing in the dark. Once Teigan reaches the park, it also includes advice on meeting an unfamiliar dog.
